High-Selling Lots:
$22,000 – “Smith Nu Approach,” ¾ x ¼ Simbrah bull was offered as a 30-unit semen package by Smith Genetics, and 11 progressive breeders, including Triple J/Carpenter Ranch; Whitaker Livestock, Hagan Cattle Co., Reavis Farms, Triple P Ranch, Burch Farms, Tres Potrillos Ranch, McCrary Farms, Tom-Lin Ranch; Kim Landry, and the partnership of Money/Whicker/KNC, bid $2,000 each.
$21,500 – “LM She Moves 3L/136” cons. by the partnership of LaMuneca, Smith Genetics and Reavis Farms. Smith Genetics purchased 100% of rights.
$16,000 – “Smith Nu Approach,” cons. by Smith genetics, sold to Whitaker Livestock.
$10,500 - “Smith Tulipe 765L”, cons. by Smith Genetics, ½ interest and ½  possession sold to Reavis Farms.
$9,200 – Four frozen embryos from Smith Annie Lou x Smith Nu Wave II, sold to Witzkowski Family.
$8,000 – Four embryos from Annie Lou x NF Smith Sargeant, sold to Ronnie Reeves, Dale.
$6,300 – “Show Heifer Prospect,” cons. by Reavis Farms, sold to Lauren Griger, Wallis.

Comments: A standing room only crowd with many new breeders was on hand. The salefeatured the breeding programs of 14 Simbrah. In addition to the sale, the $15,000 Synergy Showcase junior show was held, along with an educational program and leadership contests. Programs represented in the sale included Triple J Ranch, Sour Lake; Whitaker Livestock, Ranger; Triple P, Pearland; Hagan Cattle Company, Yoakum; McCrary Farms, DeKalb; Burch Farms, Hempstead; Reavis Farms, Mission; Pine Ridge Ranch, Dallas; Rafter M Cattle, Wharton; LaMuneca Cattle Co., Linn; Tres Potrillos Ranch, McAllen; Diamond RF Farms, Wallis; Baring Cattle Company, Elmendorf; and Smith Genetics.
 Dr. Ernesto Guerra, Bet’M Ranch, San Antonio, was a volume buyer.
 Bud Wentz, Olmito, purchased several lots.
  Lauren Griger, Wallis, purchased a show heifer.
