$22,000 – “Smith Nu Approach,” ¾ x ¼ Simbrah bull was offered as a 30-unit semen package by Smith Genetics, and 11 progressive breeders, including Triple J/Carpenter Ranch; Whitaker Livestock, Hagan Cattle Co., Reavis Farms, Triple P Ranch, Burch Farms, Tres Potrillos Ranch, McCrary Farms, Tom-Lin Ranch; Kim Landry, and the partnership of Money/Whicker/KNC, bid $2,000 each.
$21,500 – “LM She Moves 3L/136” cons. by the partnership of LaMuneca, Smith Genetics and Reavis Farms. Smith Genetics purchased 100% of rights.
$16,000 – “Smith Nu Approach,” cons. by Smith genetics, sold to Whitaker Livestock.

Comments: A standing room only crowd with many new breeders was on hand. The salefeatured the breeding programs of 14 Simbrah. In addition to the sale, the $15,000 Synergy Showcase junior show was held, along with an educational program and leadership contests.
