Volume Buyers:  Gardner Ranch, LLC, Alliance, NE – 28 Head; R&R Cattle, Emerson, NE – 24 Head; JD Anderson, Arapahoe, NE – 19 Head; Patrick Jarding, Alexandria, SD – 18 Head.

Comments:  Buyers from the upper Midwest filled the large sale arena. The sale offering included Simmental, SimAngus and Angus genetics that sold to both the purebred breeders and commercial cattlemen.

Jim Sherwood of Sherwood Cattle Company, Magnolia, MN, took home some top females for his Simmental-SimAngus program. Randy Reed of Reed Simmentals and Kip Julson of Double J Farms, both from Garretson, SD, took in the Kube Dispersal sale.
Ryan Ranes of Double R Cattle Company, Jamesport, MO, took home some females for his operation. Southwest Minnesota cattleman Dave Holm, from Chandler, was an active bidder at the sale.
