Comments:  A large number of Heartland customers once again selected females to be added into their productive herds. A number of young people were honored by the Lynch family for their success in the showring and everyone in attendance enjoyed the famous “brisket” complimentary lunch.

Bill Lane of Simmental Lane Simmentals, Fennimore, WI, took home the top-selling bred female from this year's Heartland Simmentals sale. Larry Hindman of La-Mar Farms, Radcliffe, IA, took home two heifers for his seedstock program.
Mark and Aaron Zimmerman from Spencer, WI, purchased a top open show heifer prospect. Mike Sweeney from Mitchelville, IA, and Nick Bernhard, Lawler, IA, were on hand for the Heartland Simmentals sale.
