Comments:  The calendar indicated it was October but Mother Nature had the chill of winter in the air with strong north winds rolling through the Wibaux county side. Despite the wind chill, buyers sorted through a sound, functional set of females that comprised the heart of the Nelson herd.

 Brian Harris and John Miller both made the long trip from Michigan to select some top Nelson females for their operations.Clay Lassle of Lassle Ranch Simmentals, Glendive, MT, and Bill Begger of Beggers Diamond V Ranch, Wibaux, MT, both took home females from the Nelson sale.
 Harry Allen from Custer, MT, took home many top Angus females for his top commercial SimAngus herd. Tom Nelson of Nelson Livestock Company welcomed the crowd to their herd reduction sale.
